SS1101: DSSS Engine/chip for Voice and Data

SS1101 is a DSSS chip that spreads data signal and feeds to an RF module (radio) for transmission, and despreads signal coming from the RF module and reproduces the original data. Signal to and from an RF module is binary data stream. A basic wireless communication module can be built by integrating SS1101 with an RF module and a micro-controller (three components). This wireless communication module (WCM(*)) receives digital data from a computer or from a transducer and transmitts to the air after spreading. Then a receiver side WCM receives the signal from the air, despreads and reproduces the original data and feeds to a computer or a data collector. Click for block diagram of configuration.
