Canesta additionally provides Reference Designs which provide guideance on how to implement the Camera Module in an embedded system.

Modules are generally optimized for a set of requirements, driven by one or more high-volume applications with similar requirements. A module typically includes the CanestaVision chip, lens, light source, and associated electronic support circuitry to reliably return frames of 3D depth data. The module is designed to be interfaced to an embedded system which interprets the depth data and makes decisions appropriate to the given application.
