Plasma screens or large LCD monitors can be connected together to display a single image as a video wall. You then have the option of: Displaying a huge single image between all the screens on the wall Displaying the same image on all the component screens Displaying a different image on each screen The problem with a plasma or widescreen LCD monitor video wall is that there is an inch or more gap (bezel) between screens. Orion make Infinite modular panels, with almost no bezel, for wall mounting or on a stand. This gives a better overall video wall effect, but obviously the cost of both options including all bracketry and any digital signage software, needs to be taken into account. UK bracket manufacturers produce wall mounts for video walls. Often these are less expensive than the screen manufacturers own mounts, although of course you would have to dismantle parts of your video wall if you wanted to replace a screen.
