High-reliability alternativesto blue vacuum-fluorescent displays, the KLSXXXB Series LED digital meterdisplays are offered as the first such units to employ silicon-carbide super brightblue LEDs, which deliver economical price/power requirements and are readablefrom as far away as 20ft.

The brilliant, 470nm wavelength LEDdisplays are visible in the brightest ambient lighting. But draw less than0.5w(80mA) from single 3.5V supply thats actually less than most standard redLED displays.  Strict die selection andsorting prior to manufacture ensures that the new range is not only stylish andstriking in appearance, but is also very consistent, meaning thatmultiple-digit displays can now be manufactured to the same level ofperformance that customers would expect from comparable green or red devices.The expanded range now includes, Single-digit 7 Segment Displays from 7.6 to200mm character height: dual, triple and quad 7 Segment Displays in 7.6,10 and14 mm Variants.
