Equipment Protection Application Table

Description: The next two tables can help the system designer determine specific circuit protection needs in a variety of equipment and identify the PolySwitch devices and part numbers to meet those needs. Follow these steps:1. Select your equipment type from the first column of the Equipment / Protection Application Table below. 2. Review the protection applications accross the top of the table, nothing than an "X" at the intersection of an application and your equipment type indicates that your equipment requires circuit protection for that application. 3. Use the table on the next page (Protection Application / PolySwitch Surface-Mount Device Selection Table) to select a part number for each application based on your most important design criterion (size, resistance, or time-to-trip).
