Characteristics ..................................................... Dielectric strength: 4500 V/mm Increase in insulation: 0.27 mm minimum / 0.33 mm. maximum Bare conductor dimensional clearance: IRAM 2193 and IRAM 2387. It does not absorb humidity. Thermal resistance: 180? centigrade (during continuous flow) 200? impregnated with silicone varnish. It does not alter with the passing of time (it does not age). Excellent flexibility and insulation adherence. (GLASSPOL has been coiled 10 times in a 15 mm mandrel and magnified. No alterations found) Twisting: A probe was place between two grips at a 500 mm. distance. One of them was twisted 40 times. When magnified, no alterations were found. GLASSPOL is only attacked by PYRIDINE, DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE and METACRESOLS at temperatures higher than 93? centigrade. Testing .....................................................
