Initial Information Required for Sizing:
Star Delta (or WYE Delta) is reduced in rush starting method in which 3 phase motor stator coils are initialy connected in a star configuration and subsequently switched to Delta as the motor speed increase. The resistors reduced voltage by starting a motor at 58% reduced voltage.
