Wire wound resistors are made by winding resistance wires around non-alkaline heat-resistant ceramic core which is added with an outer layer of heat and humidity resistant and non-corrosive protective material, and a coating of silicon resin paint. The resulting resistors have low tolerance.Features1. Excellent heat resistance; small temperature coefficient displaying linear change.2. Instant overload capability; low noise and no annual shift in resistance value.3. Noncombustible, light weight and cheaper than enameled resistors.4. More durable than enameled resistors that are made at high temperature.
