OSP

Green coat X5 is a water-soluble surface treatment agent used on the copper of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB). The chemical layer formed on PWB shows excellent heat-resistance and moisture-resistance; therefore, the treated PWB preserves excellent solderability for a long time. The conventional water-base OSP contains approx. 10~15% of volatile organic acids (VOA) such as the formic acid, acetic acid, etc. As a large amount of such acids which are allowed with a very low concentration of 10mm are released in the atmosphere. For such acids, measures are required to reduce the release for environmental protection and prevention of the danger to humans and animals. Green coat X5 is a water-soluble OSP free of VOA and gentle to the environment. It also excels in the heat-resistance for Lead-free process and no discoloration on gold-plated sections of plating-mixed PWB.
