This board has been designed with medium and small 2 wheel robots in mind An on board microcontroller accepts commands from host computer or master microcontroller through serial port and performs various maneuvers all by itself. Thus the host computer is free to perform high level tasks. Available to the user is a 5 pin input port (expandable) for monitoring various sensors (optical encoders, range finders and obstacle detectors and etc) The controller (ATmel 4051) can be reprogrammed to customize the board as per user requirement.
