Ultrasonic Sensors

?Application: To sense the position of a liquid or solid. Output: Analogue NPN or PNP. Features: Sensing ranges from 100mm to 5 metres depending on type. They sense any material and operate in fog dirt or extreme lighting. Can equally sense small and large objects A small transducer emits bursts of ultrasonic waves. Sound waves reflected back from the target are processed as echoes to produce an output signal proportional to the distance. Some versions have a synchronised input which enables several sensors to operate in a small area. Sensors will scan axially or radially.
