We set ourselves apart with products such as this control panel (see picture top-left) for a robotics company, which allows the seamless integration of our Soft Pot potentiometer with the membrane switch technology. This combination puts their control panel in a high-tech feel and function. The engineer operating the robot can dial coordinants using the switches and also manually move the robot with a swipe of his finger over the SoftPot, all from the same panel.



How it works:

Our SoftPot potentiometers use the same basic material construction as a Membrane Switch, which allows us to produce multiple technologies in the same control panel. The SoftPot can be actuated using just a finger, so it is the equivalent to a membrane switch in the way it can interface with the user.
