To prevent induced noise from the case a metal case of good conductivity is used.
And for the case of sensor to be used for detection of magnetic ink for the bank notes and others, the wear-proof material case is used.

To boost the sensor's sensitivity the new magnetic field which is capable to obtain required high sensitivity to be transferred to a permanent magnet. By this feature it is able to detect magnetic substance.
As for the permanent magnet a rare earth magnet is used.

When the magnetic field applied to the element is too small the rate of changes are also small.

Magnetic Bias

When a magnetic field applied perpendicularly to the current flowing at the InSb thin film, the resistance of the sensor changes.
The sampling of this changes into voltage variation to be used to various purposes.

For the MR element, a single crystallized InSb thin film is used for its large electron movability.
