KIB-VS01 is a versatile mechanical vibration switch which can be easily fitted into almost all alarm circuits. The principle of operation is that inside the unit there is a spring contact which either touches (normally closed) or untouches (normally open) a metal contact plate. When the unit is vibrated, the spring contact will move and momentarily switch the circuit from closed to open and / or vice versa and trigger the alarm.
