The Distance Sensor measures the distance and stability between the trawl doors during shooting, trawling and hauling operations. Optional features enable one sensor to measure distance, depth and temperature. Marports 144 kHz Master-Slave communication frequency sensors are well suited for all types of fishing. This sensor is a direct replacement for Scanmars 144 kHz Master and Slave Spread sensors and is fully interchangeable. These Marport sensor bodies are designed to fit into industry standard door pockets. Twin rigging is not possible without this information. One unit can perform 6 functions: Door Spread, Depth, Temperature, Roll Angle, Pitch, and Angle of Attack. Indicates when doors reach proper depth. This is vital information when shooting and hauling. Doors need not be aligned precisely to get a reading.
