DC To DC Isolator Transducer
In measuring and control circuit where a direct connection of current carrying circuit is not possible, a galvanic separation is necessary to have an interference-free operation.
This transducer converts input DC current into proportional load independent DC voltage at output with galvanic isolation between input and output. This transducer is used mainly as
an amplifying and isolating element in telemetering, computer and control systems. The input signal is buffered and amplified by a precision operational Amp. This signal drives a
linear opto coupler. The output of the linear opto coupler drives a buffer amplifier which is factory set to provide load independent output proportional to the input. The
transducer is designed to accommodate two isolating circuits. The input and output circuits are powered by an isolated supply derived from an AC auxiliary transformer.
