RHP 5 - Chute Sensor

The flapped chute sensor is of a rectangular shape, with
its tube situated vertically. In its upper chamfered corners
chains of the length of 750 mm are welded on. By
means of them, the sensor is suspended in the desired
position.

Description:
The RHP - 5 chute sensor (hereinafter chute sensor) is
designed to indicate the material clogging at conveyor
outlets and chutes, particularly for the purpose of selfblocking
of the automatic transport lines.
It may be used for all fine- to medium-grained materials
which do not cause an undesirable mechanical damage
to the chute sensor owing to their properties (e.g., aggressiveness,
abrasivity).
As suitable materials, washed and raw coal, semiproduct,
waste rock, coke, iron ore, lime stone, gravel
and bulk materials can be regarded.
Its reliable function requires that in case the chute gets
clogged and the clogging is increasing the falling material
forms a cone which deflects the suspended part of
the chute sensor by at least 20
