The high-speed pipelined image processing core is capable of delivering full resolution images at speeds up to 12 frames per second (RGB/YCbCr 4:2:2/5:6:5) and HDTV 720p video to 30 frames per second. Image processing functions include: on-the-fly defect correction, auto exposure, auto white balance, color correction, gamma correction, anti-flicker, Bayer interpolator, Edge enhancement, color space conversion, Edge enhancement and auto-focus assist. Algorithm coefficients can be manually overridden providing a unique combination of performance and flexibility. Processed output resolution is 8 bits per color and 12 bit Raw RGB output is also available.
