The model M67FM Infraducer has been approved by Factory Mutual (FM) for use in hazardous environments when installed with an FM approved intrinsically safe barrier. When properly installed, the entire system will be rated for Class I, II, and III,  Division 1, Group A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. At the time of order, please specify that the FM approved version is required and provide manufacturer and model of the barrier that will be used so our application group can confirm compatibility.  Barriers are available from Mikron.
