The extremely shear stable polymer-type viscosity improver provides Topgrade Oil SAE 5W-30 with a viscosity index of 140. This extremely high viscosity index allows it to exhibit low temperature properties that permit hydraulic pumps to be safely started at low ambient temperatures where the flow properties of a conventional, straight grade hydraulic oil might cause problems. Conversely, when the hydraulic equipment reaches operating temperature, the high viscosity index of Topgrade Oil SAE 5W-30 allows it to have the proper viscosity needed to minimize internal pump leakage and wear.
Available in SAE 5W-30.
