Calcium Grease
Product Details
These greases are smooth and buttery.
When heated, they lose their associated water, wich may be water of hydration .
They then become rough , bleed oil , and are not satisfactory lubricants, in service, they are thus limited to about 195 f( 90 c), although dropping point
is over 230 F(110 c).At low temperature , these greases are easy handle.
Shear stability is fair to good . Oxidation stability is poor but can be improved
with Inhibitors. Since this greases is not used at high temperatures , the inhibited grease has Excellent oxidation stability , specially during storage.
Water resistance is very good. Protection against rust is poor but can be enhanced with additives.
