Lubricants For Epdm Sealing Cords

ULTRASIL PS 3049 acts as lubricant for the final treatment of the EPDM profiles intended for lining or sealing of window frames. It also functions as a mould release agent for rubber and plastic parts, if these will be in contact with plastics or glass being sensitive to stress crack corrosion.

Application

The emulsion shows very good wetting and spreading properties.

ULTRASIL PS 3049 is an anionic emulsion of a polydimethylsiloxane. It is specially developed to prevent stress crack corrosion of plastic parts being in contact with components of the emulsion.
