Physical Characteristics

The AG9903 is formulated for superior resistance to bacteria and fungus growth and keeps coolant in service longer without foul odors or slime. Traditional coolant lubricity additives can act as a food for bacteria. The 9903 chemistry is inherently less food source for bacteria and fungus. Thus, coolant stays fresh longer and low biocide levels do not irritate operator's skin.

The AG9903 reduces consumption by significantly reducing the loss of additives during operation. The AG9903 stays behind as water evaporates during the machining process thus requiring less concentrate makeup. This translates into lower consumption of coolant concentrate than competitors fluids. Because the AG9903 is a multi-purpose metal processing coolant, inventories can reduced to a single product for all operations of typical tool and die shops. This synthetic formula exhibits low residue properties and runs exceptionally clean. Machines stay cleaner and residues do not attract chips and swarf. The AG9903 is inherently non-foaming thereby eliminating the need for tank side defoamers.
