DescriptionA range of high quality base oil blends specially selected and formulated for the exacting lubricating demands of steam turbines. They have great resistance to the deterioration influences of turbine service, they do not foam or froth in use and their demulsification characteristics are maintained over long periods of service, thus minimising sludge formation. Additive treatment includes anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, anti-wear agents and anti-foam. The antifoam additive is such that it does not affect the air release properties of the oil.ApplicationEnergol THB oils are recommended for water and gas turbine lubrication, for precision ring-oiled bearings, and for the crankcase lubrication of reciprocating/rotary type air compressors and enclosed high-speed steam engines.
