Heat Treatment Oil

This oil is used as quenching medium in general heat treatment applications where lower quenching speed is desired.

Application :

 

-   IS 2664 : 1980  [ Reaffirmed Nov., 1998]

Essentially meets :

 

High quality oil blended from high viscosity index mineral oil and possesses good inherent oxidation stability.

ISO VG : 39 & 40

ICCONOL Q :-

 

HEAT TREATMENT OILS : NORMAL QUENCHING

 

Suitable  for marquenching application at bath temperature of 150 to 2000C and recommended for quenching of automotive gears, bearings, tools , dies etc.

Essentially Meets:

 

Blended from selected high viscosity index base oils having excellent oxidation and thermal stability. It has very low evaporation loss even at elevated temperatures.

ICCONOL MARQUENCHING OIL :-

Quenching operations where a compounded oil is preferred.

It is a blend of mineral oil and fatty oil, it has good wetting characteristics and has a higher quenching speed .

ICCONOL Q  42 :-

 

Quenching medium for accelerated quenching operation .

Essentially meets :

 

They are blended from solvent refined base oils and contain special additives, use of these oils facilitates fast quenching through proper controlled cooling. These oils are premium quality accelerated quenching oils having outstanding and oxidation stability , low volatility high flash point and fire point. All these oils have very good thermal properties.
