FLEETLINE 500 HD CUTTING OIL

Description
A medium viscosity neat cutting oil, containing inactive sulphur, chlorinated paraffins and fatty
material to impart ease of machine ability, tool life and surface finish.
Method of use
Applied neat by flood application.
Qualifications
This product can be used on all ferrous metals, it is not suitable for copper, brass and aluminium alloys.
Applications
In all general metal removal operations where tool life, surface finish and machine tool lubrications
are required.

Overview
Neat metal cutting oils are offered for application in numerous metal removal operations, including
general lathe work, milling, honing, drilling, tapping and pipe threading.
Due to its balanced additive selection IRDM can be used in a wide variety of metal cutting operations. As
the product contains active sulphur to promote extended tool life and improve surface finish on ferrous
metals, it cannot be considered for use on non-ferrous materials
as some staining may be experienced. In situations where workpieces are reworked or undergo
finishing operations this may not be a consideration. This type of product is widely excepted due to its
versatility and excellent all-round performance.
As with all metal working fluids, good housekeeping and system maintenance are important to ensure
the satisfactory working life of the product.
