As the latest addition to Genasun's GV product line, the brings the benefits of to the smallest panels yet. With tiny self-consumption of 125 microamps in low light (1/20th to 1/50th as much as
comparable controllers), the GV-4 delivers 10% to 30% more power from the solar panel to the battery. Tracking the electrical maximum power point improves the performance of solar battery-charging
systems by 10-30%. During partial shading, gains can exceed 50%.
Our controllers connect between your solar panel and batteries like any charge controller, but sophisticated electronics allow the controller to operate the solar panel at its most efficient
voltage, resulting in significant gains in power. You may also be interested in the , our standard products for panels up to 110W, or our boost trackers for higher battery voltages. For inquiries

Our GV-4 charge controller is available as a stock product for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Lithium models are available to charge 3- or 4-cell lithium cobalt oxide or lithium polymer
batteries to just under 4.2V/cell to ensure compatibility with most battery management systems. GV-4 models are also available to charge 4-cell lithium iron phosphate batteries to 3.55 or
3.8V/cell. For lithium applications, please note that the GV-4 must be used with an appropriate battery management system or other cell protection mechanism.
For applications where a GV-4 is used with a lithium battery and a simple PCB or PCM battery protection circuit, may be used to allow the GV-4 to begin charging and close or enable the protection
circuit after the protection circuit has shut down.
Genasun's GV-4 is the industry-leading solar charge controller with energy output gains of up to 50% for panels up to 45Wp.
