The unit is water resistant and simple to use.

A blocking diode is built into the circuit, thus prevent the reverse flow of electricity from the battery to the solar panel during the hours of darkness, or when the sun is not available.

This charger has the built-in circuitry for charging different sizes of rechargeable batteries efficiently.
