 Blue coating is not only a high efficiency absorption coating but it also can reduce the reflection rate and store heat energy within the absorber. The tests result proved that solar collector with super blue coating can improve the temperature of the whole system at a larger extent.

Blue coating is a specially developed physical vacuum method.  Painting the coating onto the metal strip, the titanium was vaporized with e-ray machine in the vacuum environment, then the added nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases produce titanium oxynitrides through chemical reaction. After that, the titanium oxynitrides is condensed and deposited onto the metal stripe. The efficiency of any sun irradiation absorber depends on the ability of transferring sun irradiation into heat. High efficiency absorption of solar irradiation is very easy to achieve, the most challenging is how solar energy is stored in the internal metal.
