The space between the pipes and the polyurethane insulation ensures flow ofhot air from all sides of the receptor panel, thereby creating a hothouseeffect inside the collector.
ReceptorPanel - The receptor panel is made of either copperbands, each of which is 0.2mm thick, or 0.5mm thick galvanized tin with twocoats of black oven-baked paint. Incollectors with copper pipes the copper bands are ultrasonically welded to thesecondary pipes. This welding processenables a high level of heat transfer.
Pipes- Copper Piping 11/8" diametermain copper pipes are welded to the 5/8" diametersecondary pipes. The copper is 99.5%pure and meets drinking water standards guaranteeing effective performance andhigh heat levels from the collector.
Glass- The collector is fitted with tempered glass thatallows a high level of light penetration and which can withstand harsh weatherconditions.
Seal -EPDM rubber, installed around the glass panels,creating an effective watertight seal. The rubber seal is UV-resistant and durable underhigh temperatures.
The aluminum foil attached to the polyurethane foam insulation enables ensuresno loss of radiation to the surface of the collector, preventing heat loss andguaranteeing maximum utilization of the energy absorbed by the collector
The back of the collector is made from UV-resistant PVC or polypropylene
The collectorframe is made of either rustproof aluminum (in avariety of colours) or corrosion-resistant galvanized tin
