This microprocessor based controller is ideal for small systems, like week-end cabins, vacation homes or for various kinds of outdoor area or sign lighting. It has a 12 amp charge control, 12 amp low voltage disconnect (LVD) and an automatic lighting control. The lighting control uses the PV module as a light sensor to determine when to turn a light on, then it has an adjustable duration timer for 2 to 8 hours of run time, or it can be set to run all night. If the battery gets low, the lights are automatically turned off to prevent damage. It also has automatic equalization every 30 days or when LVD is reached. Its all user adjustable. |
