Dispense mixed product into wheel barrow or container ready for application.

Allow mixing for 2 5 minutes, ensuring all aggregates are evenly coated but taking care not to over-mix the batch.

Add the required amount of Cougar Coldlay Binder to the dry materials once they have been thoroughly mixed.

Load all dry materials and start the mixer.

Measure out aggregates using pre-marked containers in the ratio specified.

Method Statement

The Cougar Coldlay Asphalt is manufactured cold, on site using the binder, locally sourced aggregates, local labour and conventional mixing equipment (eg mobile concrete mixer).

The Cougar Coldlay Binder is delivered to site in 210 litre drums at ambient temperature.
