Additives For Warm Mix Asphalt

we offer additive which is a zeolite which can help in the reduction of the temperatures of mixing and give much better workability and compaction. THe cost is Rs120/Kg + 4% VAT. It has to be added 3Kgs per ton of the total mix. THe bitumen has to be heated as per your earlier system. THe metal/aggregate has to be heated as substantially less temperatures. We need to keep the mix temperatures between 100C and 180C. This also helps in improving the workability when adding recycled asphalt. The method os mixiung is as follows: The bitumen has to be heated and the metal has to be heated. The bitumen and the metal and the additive has to be added at the same time or also the additive may be added to the metal fisrt and just within a few seconds the bitumen has to be added. This is because there is a certain gas release which makes the material work. THe additive should not be added to to any material earlier and gradually heated as it will not function properly at all.
