GLO ASP 2000 Potassium Salt of Sulphonated Asphalt.

Description

It is a modified potassium sulphonated asphaltic compound. In potassium environments, it is highly effective because it contributes water soluble potassium in to the mud system.

Application

Shale control, fluid loss control and improving lubricity of all water systems at high temperature:

Advantages

It stabilizes shale formation.
Reduces torque and drag.
Inhibits dispersion of drilled solids.
Controls high temperature water loss.
Produces thin and strong wall cake.
Forms high emulsion where oil is used.
Controls shear strength; and
Acts as corrosion inhibitor at high temperature.
