The rail system of 150 kilometers links the mine with the export terminal at Puerto Bol?var.
To support an operation of this size, other facilities are required. There are two airports, one at the mine and a second in Puerto Bol?var; satellite communication and advanced information systems in all areas.
There are also administrative headquarters and support offices in the city of Bogot?.
Puerto Bol?var is the most important coal terminal in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.
Port information: Puerto Bolivar is the big one port to export the coals from Colombian mining operation and it is located in La Guajira state, in the northeastern part of Colombia.
The Port is on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, 150 kilometers to the north of the mine and has the capacity for ships of up to 175.000 tons dead weight, 300 meters in length and 45 metres in width. Its navigation channel is 19 metres in depth, 225 metres in width and 4 kilometers in length.
The Port's main facilities are: a train unloading station, three stacker-reclaimers and a linear ship loader that carries the coal and unloads it in the ship's hold. Its present annual average loading rate is 5,900 tons per hour, peaking at a maximum of 9,000 tons. In the first quarter of 2008, the peak loading rate will be increased to 12,000 tons per hour.

The Colombian mines never can accept trial or spots orders in any circumstances.
