200 ha exploitation areas of SAB locate at the Hutan Produksi Tetap (HP) HPHTI PT. Hutan Rindang Banua (based on the Forest Ministry number: 453/Kpts-II/1999 dated June 17th, 1999 about Forestry territory and Drainage at South Kalimantan province). Based on recommendation letter from the South Kalimantan Governor, under the number: 522/00065/EKO dated January 19th, 2007 basically Governor support SAB to get Surat Pinjam Pakai Borrowing Letter for this forest territory and has full fill the technical qualification. Currently, SAB has hold the principal approval from Forestry Ministry for using the forest areas 200 Ha.

Forestry status:

Mining License: Existing concession is 2,640 Ha of coal exploration areas under the exploration license, number: 545/56/KP/D.PE dated Nov 30th, 2001, territory code: KTB 01NOPPR95, and the Exploitation License number: 545/54.I/KP/D.PE (KTB. 0411KP0044) dated Nov 02nd, 2007 valid for 3 years for 200 Ha areas. Transport and Sale License No: 545/54.A/KP/D.PE; Environment Document No: 188.45/25/KUM.TAHUN 2008 dated March 13rd, 2008

Based on the geological map of the sampanahan quadrangle Kalimantan Page 1813 at the SAB concession at sub district Kelumpang Hulu and Sungai Durian, district Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province for the exploration areas 2,640 Ha and exploitation areas 200 Ha, located at the Tanjung formation (tet) and Berai formation (tomb). The Tanjung formation syncronize with the laboratory test that the bituminous coal between GCV 6000 kcal/kg up. The drilling at the exploitation areas of SAB has done for 66 bore holes with 1744.80 meters depth at the SAB got 5 seams coal with 3.95 meter total tickness of 5 seams, geological evaluation stratigraphy, geomorphology and coal mining potential gives us some indication 3.10 Million MT mineable at the exploitation areas and 12.8 Million MT mineable at the exploration areas.

The chemical coal analysis of SAB areas by Sucofindo Laboratory as follows:

Coal mining location has location, at Sub district Kelumpang Hulu and Sungai Durian, district Kotabaru South Kalimantan Province, INDONESIA with 2,640 Ha exploration area and the terminal location & jetty will be at Tikno's Jetty at Sungai Durian district Kotabaru South Kalimantan. The distance from SAB coal mining location to terminal location is 40 Km. The advantage of SAB: a) operated mine and complete with forest permit; b) coal terminal is the location has direct access from barge 300 feet to open seas and the distance to Tanjung Pemancing anchorage within 3 hours.
