T&T PREFERRED or 100% payment to be made by irrevocable letter of credit payable at sight to sellers nominated bank. L/c to be issued within 7 (seven) bank working days after receipt of performance bond from the seller subject to the buyers acceptance of the terms and conditions of the performance bond
11. performance bond (pb)
The pb is 2% of the letter of credit value. The seller will issue the pb to the buyer within 7 days after signing of the contract.
12. sampling and analysis
a. At the loading port, international independent surveyor (sucofindo or other inspection agent) shall determine the specifications of coal content in the shipment in accordance with ASTM standard and shall provide a certificate showing details of the determination and also the percentage of other chemical content and moisture.
b. At the port of loading, international independent surveyor shall sample from the mother vessel and divide into five parts, three for buyer, one for possible need of seller and one for international independent surveyor safekeeping.
16. shipping terms
a. Vessel shall be maximum 25 years old and should have minimum 4 cranes of minimum 25 tons and 4 grabs of minimum of 8-cbm capacities.
