Silico-briquete

Silico-briquette is a mixture of ferrosilicon fine and a binder. Ferrosilicon fine produce when it is crashing in a crasher. I.F.I R&D group prepared some experimental briquette sample with different binders and percent and tested them in iron and casting furnace and finally optimized the binder and percentage of it. Result showed that Silico-briquette has the same effect of graded ferrosilicon and its silicon recovery is also high.
