Potassium Lignite

DESCRIPTION SRI-KL is a specially lignite material which has been carefully reacted with caustic potash. It is a fine dry powder easy to disperse in the drilling fluid. SN-KL is highly soluble in normal pH muds and is stable at high drilling mud temperatures. It has good tolerance for soluble contaminants. APPLICATIONSRI-KL is designed for use in high salt muds and in potassium chloride (KCl)-polymer non-dispersed systems. Its primary function is fluid loss reduction and inhibition of shale hydration.
