Specifications and additional delivery details: Total quantity of minimally 12 000 000. 00 MT (twelve million metric tons) over a period of 24-36 months and thereafter volumes per a memorandum of agreement to be signed subsequent to this agreement. Packaging in bulk. The parties acknowledge that the supply of the coal is critical to the ongoing operation of their respective businesses. The supplier shall make coal available to the customer as stipulated on the letter of credit (lc) each month with a 01% variance. 2. Quality / specifications / sampling / analysisThe coal to be supplied to the customer shall comply with the quality requirements and specifications as are set out in the grid hereunder. The following is a typical air dried analysis basis in respect of steam coal: Specifications: Gross calorific value (gcv) dry basis6500 to 7000 kcal / KG minTotal moisture content as on receive basis6 to 10% maxMoisture as on air dried basis (adb) 4 to 6% maxAsh content (adb) 18% Volatile matter (adb) 25 to 40% Sulphur content (adb) <1. 0% Phosphorus<1. 0% Grindability of coal according to hard grove index (hgi) 40 to 60 minApproximate ash softening point1050 to 1360 degreesApproximate ash fusion point above1350 to 1450 (degrees hemispherical) Approximate ash flow point above1400 degrees
