Roof Guardian Technologies (RGT) RG-13 Coal
Tar Primer is a blend of refined coal tar pitch and
aromatic solvents, designed to penetrate porous
surfaces and bind, chalky dusty surfaces.
It enhances the adhesion of coal tar BUR, modified
bitumen coal tar roofing systems, and protective
coatings. It meets current VOC requirements,
except in California. This is a non-asbestos
product.
Basic Use
RG-13 creates a bondable surface over existing
coal tar built up roofs.
Limitations
Do not heat or thin.
Do not use on 100% rubber or plastic substrates.
Do not use on products containing asphalt.
Do not apply on damp or wet surface.
