Edible Tallow Wax is currently in use in the United States West Coast as a Paraffin Wax replacement for Produce Packaging. The product is used to protect boxes in coolers during forced ice
injection and hydrocooling applications.
This product is produced under USDA supervision, in a HACCPS environment. The product is a food grade, compostable and being used for corrugated packaging, candlewax manufacturing and paper
coating.
The product can be purchased at various melpoints and packaging medias including meltpoints to include the most common 140F, 125F or 135F. Readily available in various packaging medias liquid or
solid by rail, individual boxes, bags or drums.
