The unit works on the basis of the operating principle of pumps with lamellas: the necessary volume change is provided for by the excentric position of the rotor axle. The lamellas are made of special Teflon with graphite. The pump is driven by a brushless motor with very low voltage. The volume flowing through the pump can be altered by adjusting the RPM of the engine. The volume of petrol fumes recovered is always corresponds to the volume of petrol filled into the tanks of the vehicles as the exhaust pump is controlled by the control signals of the petrol pump.

The Type BG-50 C equipment is a supplementary unit for nozzles at filling stations. It can be integrated when installing new filling stations or when refurbishing existing ones. The equipment exhausts the blend of petrol fumes and air displaced by the petrol just filled into the tanks of vehicles, and feeds the blend into the tank of the petrol station. This is an environment-friendly procedure that is mandatory in order to protect the environment. Considerable volumes of fuel can be recovered from such fumes.
