| 1. HMS 1 is the recycle steel or wrought iron that not contain galvanized and blackened steel. |
| 2. HMS 2 is the recycle steel or wrought iron that contain galvanized and blackened steel. |
| The ISRI has been set standard for HMS 1 and HMS 2 as follow. |
| - ISRI Code 200 This code for HMS 1. That is heavy melting steel or Wrought iron and/or steel scrap. The size is of inch or steel scrap 1/4 inch and over in thickness. Individual pieces not over 60 x 24 inches (charging box size). |
| - ISRI Code 201 This code for HMS 1. That is heavy melting steel 3 feet x 18 in. Wrought iron or steel scrap 1/4 inch over in thickness individual pieces not over 36 x 18 inches (charging box size). |
| - ISRI Code 202 This code for HMS 1. That is heavy melting steel 5 feet x 18 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap 1.4 inch and over in thickness individual pieces not over 60 x 18 inches (charging box size). |
| - ISRI Code 203 This code for HMS 2. That is heavy melting steel. Wrought iron or steel scrap, black and galvanized. 1/8 inch and over in thickness, charging box size to include material not suitable as NO.1 heavy melting steel. |
| - ISRI Code 204 This code for HMS 2. That is the same as ISRI 203 but max size 36 x 18 inches. |
| - ISRI Code 205 This code for HMS 2. That is the same as ISRI 204 but free of sheet iron or thin-gauged material. |
| - ISRI Code 206 This code for HMS 2. That is the same as ISRI 204, but max size 60 x 18 inches. |
