In conjunction with ISRI, Seller has expanded its full yard services to comply with ISRI standards for 2004. To accomplish this feat, Seller has had its yards sorting material under these new guidelines. Today, Seller has incorporated the new standards and makes available the inventories that have been sorted for the past 9 months in preparation of this release. What all this means is the capability to provide over 123 different ISRI standard coded scrap metal products. Seller literally has millions of MTW of each available in each ISRI code, so availability of any product shown as a selection is not a factor. What this means is that Buyer can mix and match any of the products, delay product shipments in favor of another, including different source locations.

In all contracts, the PB procedure will remain the same. After the first payment is made in the Advising Bank, Seller will issue a SBLC (Stand By Letter of Credit), which is payable upon submission of the Corporate PBG within the signed and sealed contract at the Advising Banks counter. Seller will not issue a PBG, as the Western Banks do not issue such a document any more. This will be a SBLC and is a guaranteed payment. Again, this is not issued until the buyer has a vested interest, and the first payment is made in the Advising Bank, as the SBLC is payable upon submission of the Corporate PBG only, no questions asked and the payment can not be stopped.

Chinese Buyers
For Chinese buyers (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), a 10% advance deposit is mandatory on LC payment, therefore the only contract available for them
on LC payment is the Deposit Contract. The Trial Contract is not an option. Alternatively they can also buy under the Standard Contract with

1) This TT payment process avoids the need to open a Letter of Credit and, as such, becomes cheaper and a safer payment method for the buyer,whereby the Buyers pays only after the goods are loaded onto the vessel,and only on receiving the related Clean on Board Bill of Lading through the banking channel. The procedure to be followed is:
2) Buyer issues a Letter of Commitment confirming that they will wire transfer the funds to the Sellers bank upon receipt of Clean On Board Bill of Lading supported by Bill of Exchange, giving reference to the contract, at their counters. This letter is to be signed by the Company and countersigned by their Bank, stating that they will honor this method of payment
This letter shall be sent along with the Sales and Purchase Contract duly signed.
- SGS/CCIC Report and Certificate of Origin will accompany the goods in the ship and will also be mailed to the buyer directly from the
respective organization. These documents are NOT required for payment,except under the Deposit Contract.
- 2% (or more) of one month's shipment as a PB Guarantee valid immediately upon receipt of the 1st LC payment from the Buyer's bank.Seller issues a Corporate PBG within the signed and sealed contract.Then, when the first payment is made in the Advising Bank, a Stand-By Letter of Credit (SBLC) for 2% of one month's shipment will automatically be issued to the Buyer.
- Yard visits only possible under the Deposit Contract. In this case, the Seller will fly the Buyer around the yard(s) of the preferred
- First shipment within 45 days from date of issuance of the operative LC. Note: Typically the product can be shipped within 5 days after PAYMENT is cleared.
- Trial shipment accepted upon a one year contract. After the first shipment, an escape clause in the contract allows the buyer to cancel the LC if there is a justifiable reason for it.
If Buyer agrees to above generic terms, he must send a signed and sealed LOI in his letterhead, with full details as below.

1. Unconditional, confirmed, revolving, documentary Letter of Credit payable 100% at sight of Clean on Board Ocean Bill of Lading.
2.Or, as an alternative payment method: No LC, only a TT against BL

Any given quote is valid for 3 days only and is subject to change without notice, unless a contract is registered with the seller. Then
the price is locked for the whole contract duration.
