Can be supplied in 100 gram bags for commercial use or larger and in 10 gram sachets for domestic use. Simply mix into the compost dry or mix with 100ml of water and pour over the compost heap.
The composting process can be divided into phases starting with the rapid growth of mesophilic microbes that feed on the readily available elements in the waste and generate heat as a by-product of their metabolic processes. As the temperature in the pile rises, these organisms become limited by their own activity, making way for thermophilic microbes. The thermophiles cause the temperature to rise further bringing about the effective degradation of more complex materials like cellulose, hemi cellulose and lignin. It contains a blend of bacteria and fungal strains that operate efficiently at all of the various temperature ranges found in a compost pile.
The process of composting relies on the presence of microbes to complete the degradation process. It is applied to enhance the natural composting of organic wastes to humus.
Works in conjunction with the indigenous populations to speed rates of solid break down
Reduces unpleasant compost odours
Improved the biodegradation of garden refuse and other green wastes into fertile humus
Decreases the composting time and in so doing improves composting efficiency
Benefits
Dry leaf litter composting facilities
As a fertilizer additive.
Residential kitchen compost piles
Municipal and garden refuse composting facilities
Applications
A concentrated dry blend of bacterial and fungal spores combined with specially selected micronutrients to deodorize and accelerate the digestion of organic wastes. Suitable for both domestic and commerical use.
