An increased overall safety in operation for the transformer as a consequence of the degassing, dehydration, filtration and monitoring.
Monitoring of the gas content via a pressure gauge and giving notice upon increased gas content.
Maintaining or improving the electrical breakdown voltage due to reducing dissolved water and ageing particles in the oil.
BENEFIT TO YOU
Reducing the degradation, i.e. ageing, of cellulose and oil with approximately a factor 3, making a longer time in operation for the transformer possible.
APPLICATIONS
Degassing, dehydration and filtration of oil filled power transformers and reaction as a tool for pro-active maintenance. The treated oil volume may vary from 1-80 m3 depending on transformer
installation.
At the process the oil degassed, dewatered and filtered. The capacity of the unit is 15 m3/week. As a new steady state is obtained the removed gasses corresponds to the production of gasses within the transformer. The determination of gas production is an essential information for classification of transformer status. With Redfox C-Ty samples of oil and removed gasses are easily acquired.
