Silo discharge Type SDG Avoidance of dust creation With more than 1,500 discharge systems worldwide, the silo discharge units are AUMUNDS standard element for metered discharging of clinker silos: Through reducing dust generation, silo discharge units ensure effective environmental care without elementary additional devices. The construction principle of the silo discharge units prevent freefall of the clinker onto the discharge conveyor. The low throughput rate, corresponding to the discharge rate of the pan conveyor, effectively avoids dust creation (gravity principle). A layer-height limiter ensures a constant discharge capacity. The amount conveyed is regulated by changing the discharge rate of the type KZB pan conveyor or by adjusting the layer-height limiter. Various versions of the plate-conveyor ensure matching the silo discharge requirements in each case.
Major advantages of the silo discharge unit are the simple and reliable concept, the almost dust-free operation thanks to employing the gravity principle as well as discharge capacities of
more than 1,000 t/h in one line. If requested the silo discharge gate can be also used to feed a belt conveyor. |
