Each machine is designed to work in conjunction with the customers waste producing plant, therefore costs will vary. There are many uses for this equipment.
The oil recovered (Semi Clean) is transfered back to the dirty tank of the filtration unit, where it is filtered prior to being pumped back to the process. Usually 37% of the sludge is generally oil, which therefore makes this machine a big money winner. The solid cake produced and discharged from the Sludger is relativey dry and can be sent for disposal.
These are successfully used for reclaiming oil from filtration sludge generated by pre-coat filters in the grinding industry, particularly ball bearing manufacture.
The Sludger uses hydraulic pressures up to 250Bar to compress sludge in order to reclaim the fluids. The fluid is recovered by drainage through the top, bottom and sides of two compression chambers. The fluid is released on compression through filter pads, thus the fluid is relatively clean and able to be re-used for processes. This fluid is collected in a tank below the compression chambers, and pumped to the customers filter.
The "Sludger" compresses sludge using hydraulic rams to reclaim fluids and provide dry waste for disposal.
