The final process in the WOTEC system is the dehydration chamber.After the fuel and used oil has blended, the new blended hi-lube fuelis directed to the final coalescer assembly which removes more than 99%of emulsified or free water, as well as any particles four microns orlarger. Even if there is no used oil to blend, the WOTEC system has abypass, which allows the diesel fuel to flow through uninhibited and becleaned and dehydrated. Once the processed used oil is blended into thefuel flow, it will not separate. The new blended hi-lube diesel fuelcan be pumped directly into a fuel tank or held for future use in astorage tank.

Although that may sound complicated, the process is actually quitesimple. The used oil, which would otherwise be disposed of, is broughtin through one valve in the WOTEC. It is processed and cleaned beforebeing blended with the diesel fuel, which enters through another valve.They are reduced to microscopic particles that blend together in astatic mixer. The blend ratio can be set anywhere from 1%-10%, meaningthat at 10% you only have to use 9 litres of diesel fuel to get 10litres of the new hi-lube blended diesel fuel. The other litre comesfrom the used oil that is blended into the new diesel fuel.
